YOU FUEL, WE GIVE.
Throughout the months of February and March, Sunoco’s retail campaign will feature our proud support of American Red Cross Disaster Relief.1
Sunoco and the American Red Cross
For more than 50 years, Sunoco has been fueling the American Red Cross and first responders everywhere. We understand the value of being a good neighbor, especially during the rescue and recovery process. Since 2006, we’ve worked with the Red Cross on The Sunoco Fuel-Up Program, which includes supplying fuel for more than 125 emergency response vehicles and blood collection vehicles throughout the Delaware Valley. We also continue to support community and special events, volunteer engagement, local and national disaster relief, and emergency management authorities to make sure our community members get the help they need.
We thank all of the first responders, rescue & recovery teams, and all of the volunteers who step up to help their communities. Helping those closest to us when they need it most has always been a mission that fills our heart. When you fill your tank at Sunoco, you know that you’re part of something bigger.
Our Continued Commitment to Service
It’s important give back to the communities we serve throughout the year. That is why, through The Sunoco Foundation, we are dedicated to helping other organizations, like Philabundance, to provide assistance to those who need it most.
Since 1993, Sunoco has been proud to support Philabundance, the region's largest hunger relief organization. In 2005, Sunoco agreed to supply fuel for Philabundance's fleet of 12 trucks, which travel nearly 200,000 miles a year to supply food assistance to people in need, distributing millions of pounds of food to 65,000 people each week. 1 Sunoco will donate $500,000 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief between February 1 and March 31, 2015.
