NEW DEALERS

Welcome to Sunoco! As a new “A” Dealer, you’ll need to furnish and/or complete the following documents. Just click on the document links to
download a PDF file, or complete it online and return via email.

  • Credit Application for Each Shareholder:
    • All fields are to be completed. If you’re married, your spouse’s signature and Social Security number are required as well. This is for credit reports and Personal Guarantees. Get The Form
  • Copy of Tax Bill/Deed:
    • A Property Search is not required if an Assignment includes the purchase of the property. This assumes that the assignee will be purchasing the property free and clear of any encumbrances. It also verifies the property owner, address and the legal description of the property.
  • Copy of Lease:
    • This is required if the property owner name and dealer contract name are diferent. This verifies the dealer’s right to be on the property with the owner’s approval. A sample lease is available for download. Get The Form
  • Corporate/LLC/Partnership:
    • The following are required to verify state registration, shareholders, shareholder ownership, percentages, titles and the Federal ID number.
      • State-issued Certificate of Incorporation (if corporation)
      • State-issued Certificate of Organization (if LLC)
      • Articles of Incorporation/Organization (if applicable)
      • Corporate Resolution (if applicable)
      • Partnership Agreement (if partnership)
      • Proof of Federal ID # (IRS Application)
  • Tax Returns:
    • 1-year Personal and Business returns are needed to verify Social Security #s, Federal ID #, shareholders, ownership percentages and sales trends and incomes. Tax returns provided should be the most recent year’s return filed with the IRS.
  • Proof of Funds:
    • We’ll need 3 consecutive monthly bank statements and/or investment statements. Online printouts are accepted if the name of the bank, dealer name and account number is included on the printout and the statement is complete. This is to verify available funds for operating the business, funds from others, large recent deposits, monthly loan payments and NSF items. Bank statements and/or investment statements provided should be within the 3 most recent months to the application date.
  • Proof of Legal Residency/Citizenship:
    • Accepted forms include your Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization or a Permanent Residency Card. Driver’s license copies will not be accepted as proof of legal residency or citizenship. If the accepted form has an expiration date, the date should be current and not expired when submitted.
  • Underground Storage Letter:
    • The Tank Registration and UST Systems Test documents must be completed. Get The Form
  • W-9 Form:
    • W-9 form is a requirement for Tax ID verification and required for account setup and maintenance in our internal systems. Get The Form

RENEWING DEALERS

As a renewing “A” Dealer, you’ll need to furnish and/or complete the following documents. Just click on the document links to download a PDF file, or complete it online and return via email.

“AA” TO “A”

When converting from an “AA” account to an “A” Dealer, you’ll need to furnish and complete the following documents. Just click on the document links to download a PDF file, or complete it online and return via email.
